The book "Explanation of the Meanings of The Noble Qur’an" published in its first edition in 2024 by the Association for Multi-lingual Islamic Content, is the result of a massive institutional and scholarly effort. It aims to present the message of the Holy Qur'an to English speakers through a methodology that balances traditional Islamic scholarship with linguistic modernity. Rather than a mere word for word translation, the book adopts a "Translation of Meanings" approach rooted in authoritative commentaries such as "Al-Tafsir al-Muyassar" and "Tafsir al-Sa'di" This ensures that the reader gains an accurate understanding of the Quranic context, free from misinterpretations.
The work underwent a rigorous multi stage review process involving specialized Sharia committees to ensure creedal integrity as well as linguistic review by native English speakers to ensure the text is fluid and accessible. As a core component of the "Quran Encyclopedia" (QuranEnc) project this edition serves as a highly credible digital and print reference. It is primarily designed for new Muslims, researchers and those seeking religious truth in clear, contemporary English, maintaining meticulous precision in translating metaphysical and legislative terms that are often lost in traditional translations.
