The book "Teachings of Muhammad ﷺ" (Las enseñanzas de Muhámmad: Concerniente a la devoción, relaciones y modales) is a Spanish work adapted from the monumental classic "Zad al-Ma'ad" by Imam Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya. Prepared by Dr. Ahmad bin Uzman al-Mazyad and translated into Spanish by Isa García, the book aims to introduce the Prophet’s ﷺ Sunnah and guidance to the Spanish-speaking audience through a practical, accessible guide that highlights real-life examples from his blessed life in devotion, dealings, and etiquette. It covers in detail the rulings on purification, hygiene, ablution (Wudhu') and Tayammum, as well as the Prophet's guidance on the call to prayer (Adhan) and performing various types of prayers including Friday prayer, the two 'Eid prayers, eclipse prayer, rain prayer, fear prayer and voluntary prayers. Additionally, it details the etiquette of funeral rites, burial, and offering condolences, alongside the obligations of Zakat, Zakat al-Fitr, voluntary charity and the rules of fasting during Ramadan. This makes it an essential practical and spiritual reference for new Muslims and Spanish speakers worldwide seeking to connect directly with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in their daily lives.
