The book (A Summary of Islamic Jurisprudence - Acts of Worship) by Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al-Tuwaiyri, meticulously translated into Spanish by Muhammad Isa García, is a practical jurisprudential guide aimed at simplifying and facilitating the understanding of Islamic law for Spanish-speaking Muslims worldwide. This volume focuses primarily on the rulings of purification and daily acts of worship (El Libro de la Purificación), which form the fundamental pillar of a Muslim's daily life. It addresses in detail both physical and spiritual purification, outlines the categories of water and the conditions for using them and covers the rulings on containers and cleansing from impurities. Furthermore, the book elaborates on the acts of natural disposition (Sunan Al-Fitrah) and personal hygiene, such as using the miswak (Siwák), circumcision, trimming nails, hair care and letting the beard grow. It also provides a comprehensive overview of the etiquette of relieving oneself, the rules and pillars of ablution (Al-Udú'), wiping over socks (Juff) and the vital importance of intention (An-Niiah) in the acceptance of deeds. Published via the IslamHouse platform, the book stands out for its direct approach grounded in evidence from the Quran and Sunnah without getting bogged down in complex scholarly disputes, while preserving original Islamic terminology to connect readers directly with authentic concepts.
