""The New Muslim Guide" is an illustrated instructional guide designed specifically to be the first companion for anyone who has recently embraced Islam. The book presents essential jurisprudential rulings and foundational creedal teachings in a simplified, modern style that avoids complexity and relies heavily on illustrative photographs and diagrams. This book serves as a practical roadmap that helps new Muslims understand their religion and practice their daily acts of worship and transactions as easily as possible across all aspects of life."

"The New Muslim Guide" by Sheikh Fahd bin Salem Bahammam is one of the most prominent contemporary works dedicated to introducing Islam and simplifying its Sharia sciences for new Muslims and non-Arabic speakers. The book stems from a clear educational and scholarly vision, recognizing that a new Muslim's first steps are the most critical in building their creed and behavior. Therefore, it focuses on presenting the immediate essentials of rulings and manners that a Muslim cannot afford to be ignorant of, while maintaining a gradual and facilitating approach. The book is characterized by its comprehensiveness and integration, covering all aspects of a Muslim's life, starting from correcting the creed and understanding the pillars of Islam and faith, through the rulings of purification, prayer, fasting, Zakat and Hajj, up to the ethics of daily transactions, dietary laws, and family matters. All of this is delivered through an innovative visual style that utilizes hundreds of illustrative photos, mind maps, and diagrams that explain actions and turn theoretical concepts into a tangible, practical reality. Furthermore, the book bridges the gap between rulings and contemporary reality by discussing the practical challenges and issues that a new Muslim faces in their social environment using smooth, jargon-free language that remains strictly committed to scriptural evidence from the Holy Quran and the authentic Sunnah. Due to this modern presentation, the book has been translated into dozens of global languages and has become an essential, accredited reference for Islamic organizations and dawah centers worldwide to educate and empower new Muslims.
