Al-Fiqh Zad Academy (first level)
""Fiqh - Level One" is a simplified educational guide designed for beginners and students of Islamic knowledge in their initial phase. The book focuses on the most essential chapters of worship that a Muslim needs in daily life, specifically the rulings of Purification (Tahara) and Prayer (Salah), presenting Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) in a modern, clear and structured layout that facilitates understanding and memorization."
The book "Fiqh - Level One" is one of the core educational curricula approved by the Zad Academy, under the supervision of Sheikh Muhammad Salih Al-Munajjid and prepared by the Educational Content Department at Zad Channel. It aims to build a solid jurisprudence foundation for the contemporary Muslim, enabling them to worship Allah with clear understanding through a simplified approach free from complex jurisprudential intricacies. In this first level, the book focuses on two fundamental pillars of physical worship: Purification (Tahara) and Prayer (Salah). It begins with the chapter on purification and its categories, covering the types of ritual impurities (Hadath), types of water and their rulings, purification of wastewater, rulings on utensils and etiquette of relieving oneself (including what is prohibited, disliked or recommended). It also addresses the Sunnahs of fitrah, ablution (Wudu) detailing its obligatory acts, recommended practices, nullifiers and contemporary issues alongside the rulings on wiping over leather socks and socks, full-body ritual bath (Ghusl) and its method, dry ablution (Tayammum), removal of impurities, and natural blood conditions for women such as menses and post-natal bleeding. The book then moves to the chapter on Prayer (Salah), elaborating on the ruling regarding its abandonment, the Call to Prayer (Adhan) and Iqamah, prayer times, conditions, and contemporary prayer issues. It provides a precise distinction between the pillars, obligatory acts and recommended practices (Sunnahs) of prayer, concluding with a step-by-step description of how to perform Salah, as well as its disliked acts and invalidating factors. Overall, it serves as a comprehensive, modern and well-organized educational guide connecting jurisprudential rulings to daily practical application.
