"Quranic Reflections"
ESQuranic Reflections
"Reflexiones Coránicas" (Quranic Reflections) by Dr. Ahmad Abdo is a spiritual companion designed to connect the reader with divine revelation through contemplating the messages and benefits of the Holy Quran. Written in clear and elegant Spanish, the book offers a collection of wisdom and lessons derived from the verses, aiming to transform reading into a heart-centered experience that grants tranquility and guides daily behavior, following the path of the righteous predecessors who viewed the Quran as "letters from the Lord" to be pondered and acted upon."
The book "Reflexiones Coránicas: Mensajes y beneficios del Noble Corán" serves as a practical and methodological guide to Quranic contemplation. Dr. Ahmad Abdo presents a vision where the Quran is not merely text to be recited, but the "Word of the Lord of the heavens and the earth" revealed as a source of mercy, guidance and peace. Inspired by the approach of the Companions and early scholars who viewed the Quran as divine messages to be meditated upon by night and implemented by day the author provides an analytical study that combines his own insights with the wisdom of classical commentators. The book emphasizes the emotional bond with the text, asserting that the Quran is a "valuable companion" that reveals its secrets only to sincere hearts. By concluding each reflection with a supplication (Súplica) the author bridges the gap between knowledge and action, creating a comprehensive spiritual experience that aims to lead the reader toward the straight path and the ultimate reward of Paradise.
