The book begins with a welcoming introduction congratulating new Muslims on their guidance, then moves to anchoring foundational concepts by explaining the comprehensive meaning of Islam and its legislative sources namely, the Holy Qur'an and the Prophetic Sunnah while highlighting its major characteristics such as comprehensiveness, ease and the universality of a message suitable for all times and places.
