Fiqh of Zakat

Fiqh of Zakat: This course provides a practical introduction to the rulings and principles of Zakat, one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Students will learn the purpose and wisdom of Zakat, who is obligated to pay it, the conditions that make wealth subject to Zakat, and how to calculate Zakat on various types of assets. The course also explains the categories of people who are eligible to receive Zakat and the proper method of distributing it according to Islamic teachings.

In addition to the basic rulings, students will explore common contemporary issues related to income, savings, investments, business assets, and charitable giving. By the end of the course, students will have a clear understanding of their Zakat obligations and will be able to fulfill this important act of worship correctly and with confidence, in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah.
